Don’t Help the BAD GUYS!
The greatest soldiers in the war on cyber-attacks are ourselves and our employees.
Over 80,000 cyber-attacks happen per day and over half of the attacks that are successful occur because of something an employee did inside the business. We want to encourage you to spend time and help raise awareness with your employees on the DO’s and DON’Ts of cyber security.
Security Points to keep in mind and to educate all of your employees on:
Be mindful of emails, always pay attention to SENDER - click on the sender address to verify the origination of the email address – does it look correct?
NEVER click on links inside an email unless you know the sender and are expecting the email
Be careful on phone scams, Microsoft WILL NEVER CALL YOU! Do not let anyone connect to your computer unless you know they are your IT support, your practice management or your imaging company.
Never trust a phone number you find online. Please call Integrity and verify the number is valid.
Make sure all personal devices (phone, watches, etc) are CONNECTED to guest/visitor wifi or are outside of your business network.
ENSURE your backups are running properly. Call Integrity for instructions
It’s important to understand attacks are happening every day so please work with Integrity to ensure the best plan for your practice. The key is to keep hackers out of your system! Integrity’s suggestion is to review with your teams frequently because even the most secure facility or system is vulnerable if someone opens a door.
Call Integrity’s Director of Client Care Don Grau to discuss your security today.
