The End of a Product’s Life

When a product hits END of LIFE it means that the specific vendor will no longer provide updates, parts, or technical support!  The vendor is no longer marketing or selling that specific product.  Your practice

becomes vulnerable and exposed to potential security breaches because security updates are no longer occurring on that product!

What products are EOL that your Practice may be using?

Microsoft Windows 7 (Operating System) - Released 10/2009 -  expired

Microsoft Office 2010 (Software) - Released 6/2010 - expired

Windows Server 2008 (Server Operating System) - Released 9/2008 - expired

Windows Server 2012(Server Operating System) - Released 5/2012- EOL 10/2023

Microsoft Office 2013 (Software) - Released 5/2013 - EOL 4/2023

Hear it from the CEO of Black Talon!

“Keeping your technology up to date is an important component of cybersecurity.  As devices and

software reach their end of life, their respective manufacturers typically do not provide the necessary

security updates to these products.  This can put your practice/business at risk of a cyberattack.” -Gary Salman

Integrity is here to help your practice get through any and all technological difficulties and make sure that any EOL’s are dealt with quickly and professionally.
